Where have you gone Nicolaus Copernicus?

Making an impact on the human condition while seeking the truth, scientists have risked everything important to them in their life for their ideas. Even when the "field of experts" knew he was foolish to suggest such ideas, Nicolaus Copernicus published his findings and thoughts on our solar system. Of course, we know he was right and they were wrong. But what is most memorable and important is that he was not intimidated and continued to publish these ideas and helped move science and our understanding of nature forward. A true role model.

Today, we must ask ourselves, are we willing to face such feedback and criticism when we speak out for a better way or for better results? In our current bottom line oriented society it appears that so many scientists are intimidated into fast results instead of good results. Instead of truth, they are reduced to efficiency or data per dollar.

For the sake of science and our society, truth and innovation is the only way we will continue the proud and wonderful tradition that the men and women of science have established for us and that of which we are part. Discovery of truth in spite of "the field of experts".

We at MicroSolv salute and honor all scientists and we believe that without their work, the world would be more chaotic, difficult to survive and less livable.
